Who fires the CEO/Owner?
Well the customers do! In Seth Godin’s words its the CEO’s job to set the Agenda. But our upbringing gets in the way:
- We are taught to take things in our own hands as opposed to empowering people and trusting them to do the job
- We are taught to micromanage than to create agile environment where people collaborate
- We are taught to blame than take responsibility for power
- We are taught to be opinionated than to *listen*
Its not your fault, its the culture. After all what will peers think about you if you go on defacing CEO “image”.
